As a former litigator and with his experience throughout his career of the winner take all approach he has come to the conclusion there is a better, cost effective and less combative and emotionally draining way of settling disputes. Jack’s approach is that he prefers to help facilitate and assist parties in their disputes to resolve them and to have greater control of a outcome as opposed to the zero sum outcome that one finds at the end of the litigation process. He is prepared to assist parties in employment, estate, contractual, condominium disputes and Family law matters.

He is a Qualified Arbitrator recognized by the ADR Institute of Canada. He offers timely, balanced adjudications and well- reasoned decisions, with in line with the motto of Just. Right. He is also experienced at conducting Med/Arb proceedings if the parties are seeking this alternative. He accepts invitations of labour management grievances that requires an experienced arbitrator and promises timely decisions pursuant to collective agreements and the Labour Relations Act.
He accepts invitations to adjudicate Business and contract disputes, lease and land disputes, estate and family property matters. He conducts the latter matters pursuant to the ADRIC rules and Med-Arb rules if applicable.

Jack is a certified investigator that will avoid any perception of bias. He is a former Chief Legal Officer of a child protection agency, Superintendent of Human Resources and Federal Prosecutor that brings solid investigation techniques and report writing skills. Jack understands the urgency and sensitivity of all workplace complaints. The nature of his approach allows him to delve into each matter in a timely fashion and to conclude the investigation process as quickly as possible to ensure an impartial and comprehensive and defensible report to assist the party in determining the appropriate outcome.
