As a former litigator with experience throughout his career of the winner-take-all approach Jack has come to the conclusion there is a better, cost-effective, less combative and emotionally draining way of settling disputes. Jack prefers to help facilitate and assist parties in resolving their disputes while retaining greater control of the outcome as opposed to the zero sum result that one finds at the end of a litigation process. He is prepared to assist parties in employment, estate, contractual, condominium disputes and Family law matters.
Jack is a Qualified Arbitrator recognized by the ADR Institute of Canada. He offers timely, balanced adjudications and well-reasoned decisions, in keeping with the motto Just, Right. Jack is also experienced at conducting Med/Arb proceedings if the parties are seeking this alternative. He accepts invitations for labour management grievances that require an experienced arbitrator and promises timely decisions pursuant to collective agreements and the Labour Relations Act.
Jack accepts invitations to adjudicate business and contract disputes, lease and land disputes, estate and family property matters. He conducts these matters pursuant to the ADRIC rules and Med-Arb rules if applicable.
